Quick review of the ASIS Foundation and how it is benefiting the security industry and our membership through research and scholarships.  We'll discuss the available grants and scholarships including the Hardship Relief Grant that helps our colleagues who have been impacted by economic issues over the last few years.

Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) is a top strategic priority for ASIS International.  During this conversation we'll discuss the changing business landscape and how the security industry needs to transform to keep pace.  ESRM is a risk based approach to security that can help the industry advance, security practitioners excel in their careers, and security vendors engage with clients in more strategic engagements.  We'll review the ESRM principles and why ASIS is heading down this path and offering an ESRM Certificate.
